What To Expect With Morpheus8

At Revitalize Aesthetics MedSpa, Morpheus8 treatments are tailored to your individual needs. We recommend 2-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimum results. There's minimal downtime involved (usually 24-72 hours), and you can expect to start seeing results within weeks - with full results by 60-90 days post treatment. It’s safe to use on all skin tones, including darker ones – without any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) like other treatments. Plus, with a good skincare routine and the proper use of SPF you can enjoy long-term results that last for years!


To make sure you're as comfortable as possible during treatment, we numb the area for an hour before beginning - the whole process usually takes 20-45 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated. Keep in mind that everyone's treatment and results are different, so individual results may vary!

  • How often should I go for treatments?

    We recommend visiting us every 4-6 weeks.


    Most clients require 3 visits to see full results. This will be determined during your individual consultation.


    Always allow for ample time for skin to heal away from direct sun exposure. If concerned about downtime, schedule treatment with at least 24 hours post treatment where you can avoid wearing makeup, working and sweating. 

  • What should I know for pre & post treatment?

    PRIOR TO TREATMENT:

    • Please allow for 14 days after any injectable treatments until you can get a Morpheus8 treatment.
    • Please allow 4 weeks after getting filler to get a Morpheus8 treatment.
    • Wait 15 days post IPL, Microneedling, chemical peel or any other face treatment
    • Do not drink alcohol at least 48hrs prior to treatment as this can increase risk of bruising and swelling
    • If possible avoid natural supplements and medications 2 weeks prior to treatment that have ant-inflammatory properties such as Vitamin E, Biloba, Gingseng, Garlic, Ginkgo, St. John’s wart, Omega 3 fish oils, Ibuprofen (Advil), Aspirin, Motrin, Aleve.
    • Stop using Retin-A one week before and after treatment.
    • No use of Accutane 6 months prior to treatment.
    • Ensure skin is clean.
    • Please inform us prior to your treatment during your consultation of any history of cold sores, as we may need to start you on anti-viral medication prior to treatment.

    POST TREATMENT:

    • Avoid Make-up application for 1-2 days after the treatment.
    • Redness will be seen for 24hrs-48hrs post treatment.
    • Expect to see possible micro lesions a few days after treatment which should not be touched, scrubbed or scratche
    • Keep the area treated clean for 1-2 days post treatment prevent infection.
    • Avoid sun exposure, saunas, hot tubs, exercising or sweating until area is fully healed (3 days minimum).
    • Moisturizer may be applied 24-72 hours after treatment and then applied regularly. Do not use any scrubs or exfoliates until area is fully healed (3 days minimum).
    • Sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher must be worn daily starting 24 hours post treatment and must be worn for 30 days post-treatment. SPF is always a good idea to continue applying daily after this time period to maintain youthful skin and prevent sun damage
